Dear MILSET friends, In the continuity of the Youth Climate Conferences which gathered 17000 youngsters worldwide, MILSET is launching a new programme: "The Young Citizens Conferences (YCC)". Every year, a topic connected with the actuality will be selected to allow the youth to have a space where to express their concerns and be engaged in the debate for their future through various activities such as workshops, congresses, etc. Stressing on the key role of this primary resource in everyone life, the selected topic for 2012 is: "Water". The Young Citizens Conferences on Water (YCC on Water) are dedicated to express the views and concerns of youth regarding their concerns on water usage, accessibility and others by gathering their voices from every part of the globe encouraging them to enter actively the debate. We are confident that the open-mindedness of young people combined with a scientific approach will yield important contributions. Our primary goals will be reached through a series of activities following a 3 steps methodology: "Observations, Causes and Actions".
