MILSET Launches Its Journal – Logo Ideas Are Welcome
MILSET is pleased to announce that it has recently started publishing its own printed and on-line periodical. The new media platform is called The Journal on Science Education aka JOSE and is planned to focus primarily on publishing MILSET theoretical materials related to leisure activity in science and technology, which may include methodology-related articles, conference materials, reports on MILSET events and activities, etc.
The first two printed issues of JOSE were published November, 2012 and presented at the 25th MILSET Anniversary Science Fairs World Summit in Puebla, Mexico. The first edition included the materials of the ESE Leader Congress held in July 2012 in Tula, Russia as part of the Expo-Sciences Europe 2012. The second one (a special issue) published the summaries of the speeches made by the members of the Russian delegation at the 25th MILSET Anniversary Science Fairs World Summit in Puebla. These issues were published in Russia, but the future ones may be published in any other country, as JOSE is meant to be an international media aimed at spreading information worldwide.
ATTENTION! As we have a new-born journal now, we need a logo and announce a contest. We welcome any ideas, but it would be best to have an image of a man there, as the journal is called JOSE. We could later “dress” the man differently depending on which country the current issue is published in. We accept everything from a written description of the idea or a scanned drawing to a full elaborated design. The best of your ideas will become the official logo of the journal. Please send your ideas to Ksenia Salnikova (jose@milset.org)
