33rd Youth Science Meeting
Date: 27/07/2015
Website: http://ajc.pt/YSM2015/ajc.html
The Youth Science Meeting project started in 1982, and has reached present times (with the XXII edition), with a new edition every year. Created to cultivate the interest of scientific research on students, it also promotes the exchange of experiences among participants, usually aged between 16 and 25 and studying several scientific areas/fields. In addition to the mandatory and traditional presentation of a project previously developed by the participants, the meeting program further includes: theoretical lectures and practical workshops (scientific component); visits to popular places in the city and region where the meeting is held, such as visits to museums and Scavenger Hunt (recreational and cultural component); tours through the shoreline or biological/environmental interest trails (nature component); and of course social and group dynamics (social component).
